Not really sure which tires me more:
- Taking all of Lailah’s toys, books, playthings (castles, pirate fairies, stuffed animals) out and putting them around the house to make sure she sees them and plays with as many of them as she wants,
-
Playing with Lailah all day long,
-
Collecting everything off the floor after she leaves and putting the stuff away.
I know it’s not the second choice, and taking stuff out and off the shelfs, dropping them, on the floor isn’t THAT tiring, so, it must be me, bending over (dozens of times), picking up the stuff is probably what does it to me, right??
Will there ever be a time when she will start helping GPB by putting her stuff away? Oh, I remember, someone recently told me the answer: yep, around the age of 8 or 9 but then, upon becoming a teenager at 13, she’ll revert back to her “early” yrs and will not only be leaving her record albums (CDs), VHS tapes (DVDs), Barbies (video game cartridges) on the floor but also the majority of her clothes as well.
@@@@@@@@@@
The countdown to her arrival is in T minus twenty mins (actually I’m picking her up like normal, and I may take her on an outing, we’ll see if she is up for it).
More later on WLAY (123.45 on your dial), that is W-LAILAH, the only station (GranPa) in beautiful downtown AV that plays with a beautiful granddaughter named Lailah.
Gotta get going – too bad if I can’t make the above any more funnier that it is…you guys will just have to suffer without my (bad sense of) humor today.
