Had my little girl this afternoon for a couple of hours – the little stinker took a paint brush (with a load of blue paint) and painted my camera lens! [Video at 11.] LOL [fortunately, this was on my point&shoot, not the “better” camera).
it’s not like she didn’t warn me. I’ve recently have had my entire right arm painted, one or more of my shirts painted, my nose painted, etc. She was even painting the top of the kitchen table just prior to the hit on the lens.
But, how can you get mad at a 3 year old for doing something like this – not me. Even if it was on the DSLR, i think my reaction would have been the same – it’s my fault for putting the camera so close to her, not her’s, etc. There’s no way I would ever get mad at this girl (at least until age 13-15, then all bets are off!)
I really wish I’d had a kid much earlier on in my life – I’ve been taught so many life lessons by this beautiful girl in the last 3+ years.
[I’m not into Twitter, but I think she deserves her own #hashtag (starting now), something like #LailahRocks. Can anyone tell how to do this, how do I apply for a #hashtag? Yes, I’m kidding here.]
