This is a fairly long survey (a few dozen or more questions), but I recommend you spend the time taking it, if you are uncertain over which candidate represents you the most. I recommend expanding those subject/policy sections that say “more…questions” as well as to open the “more stances” for EACH question, rather than rely totally on either saying ‘yes’, or ‘no’, because sometimes the ‘other stances’ options gives more clarity in what is actually being asked.
With all that said, it seems Mr. Sanders and Secretary Clinton pretty much seem to be in aligned with my opinions/values, at 93% or higher (go figure), and Michael Bloomberg coming in third at 80% (of the major “candidates”). The other candidates apparently do not represent my views/values/opinions being significantly lower at just 27 percent or even lower, some coming in at just 16%.
I’m not saying you should use this to pick a candidate, but to perhaps understand your own values/interests/views better – in case, you really don’t know where you stand on issues relating to foreign policy, economic policy, drugs, immigrants, Middle East conflict, government surveillance, oil drilling, climate change, education, etc. A lot of the questions I wasn’t sure about, but reading the ‘other stances’, gave me some knowledge which I hadn’t had, before taking this survey.
