Help this old gizzer out – I’m trying to place an actress, but am not able to remember her name or which show she was on. This person had curly red hair, and spoke (I thought) with a southern accent. My first idea was a character on Roseanne, then I thought Designing Women (and no, I’m not thinking of Annie Potts).
Anyone have a clue?

There used to a show called “Grace under fire”…
Aha, yep, after looking up this show, that’s her: the character’s name was Nadine, played by Julie White.
The reason why I was thinking of Julie White, was because the lead actress (Erin Mackey) in South Pacific on Saturday night, playing “Nellie Forbush”, sounded quite similar to Julie White (with her accent, etc.)
Huh.
