NEW BLOGGING MILESTONES!

I wrote the post below a few weeks ago. But, it seems I need to update it with the following:

4.3. Another new subscriber!

4.5. A friend has now commented (twice) on my blog posts! Thank you, Edward Anderson!

There’s going to have to be a time when I will need to stop posting these milestones, but they’re pretty important in the beginning, you know, especially when you welcome your 100th subscriber, and then your 1,000th, then before you know it, you have a million followers!

LOL (JK)

Blogging Milestones:

  1. Created my WordPress blog in Nov/Dec, 2012.

  2. Received my first “comment” to one of my blog pages from an outsider (someone whom I didn’t know) in Feb, 2014, inquiring about a Model Railroading book they were interested in. They apparently found my bog/website via a google search, looking for a specific (and rare) Model Railroad book – of which I had a duplicate copy and later, sent to them, making them pretty happy, since she wanted the book as a gift for her husband’s birthday.

  3. A Facebook post of mine was shared just last week (about “Good vs. evil, and how we now are getting inundated with national and world news, as compared to years ago). This was the first time one of my FB postings was “shared” on FB.

  4. My first WordPress blog subscriber “subscribed” a few days ago, which means each time I post a blog entry on my WordPress blog, they get an email informing them of that post. Can’t really say I know this person, since they aren’t a friend from work, school, etc. But, our FB friendship began and has developed since they, like myself, use FB as a blogging outlet, and I like their writing. They recently created their own WordPress blog, and I had subscribed to it, which probably led them to subscribe to mine.
