I’m 2/3s into this new murder mystery book (supposedly like “gone girl”, or “girl on the train”).
I’ve seen Gone Girl, and read the book, and enjoyed both. Got home tonight after reading this new murder mystery on the bus, and decided I needed to watch “girl on the train”.
O.m.g., I’m half way into it, and it is excruciating slow. Emily Blount’s character looks so out of it.
The new murder mystery book’s movie is coming out in September…once I finish the book, I’ll decide whether or not I’m going to see the movie. The preview of the movie was what caused me to start reading the book.
If you saw “girl on the train”, share your thoughts on that movie with me. Good, bad, or?
More later. We’ll see if I can finish the book tonight, probably not. Will finish it by the weekend, though.
Updated: I just finished girl on the train (the movie). While it was slow, I did enjoy the last third of the movie, great surprise/twist at the end, when the killer is revealed.
