A few months ago, I saw advertisements on Showtime regarding a new documentary they were releasing. It looked pretty interesting, but of course, I then promptly forgot about it.
Came across it again tonight, and it’s titled “The Fourth Estate”, a four part series (for Season one, not sure whether a second season is coming). I only had time to watch the first episode before heading off to bed, but I plan to watch the rest soon.
Here is how it’s described by Showtime:
“This documentary series about The New York Times in the Trump era illuminates critical issues facing journalism today, and chronicles the tenacious men and women fighting for the freedom of the press, and America’s right to know.”
Give it a try, if you’re into documentaries, or other topics, like how our current President (and his administration) has been treating our mainstream media during the last eighteen months, or how they are keep trying to convince our fellow Americans that the media isn’t trustworthy (i.e., “Fake News”), etc.
