Apparently I didn’t order Bob Woodward’s latest book early enough. Ordered it via Amazon on Saturday, expecting it would be delivered on Tues (the day it was due to be released) or Wed. Got an email from them yesterday, saying it would be delivered sometime between sept 25, and Oct 9th. I hear they printed an unprecedented million copies due to the demand. Very unlike Amazon to give such a wide range of dates (usually, with Prime, delivery is within two days). Given the expected popularity of this book, I guess it’s understandable.
Decided to cancel the hardcover order and download the kindle edition. Would have preferred the hardcover in this particular case, since I had been planning on getting President Trump’s autograph on the inside cover of Bob’s book during my visit to the oval next week. Guess I’ll just have to ask him to sign the Kindle edition, on my iPad glass with his Sharpie.

I’m really looking forward to meeting ”the man” during my visit out there next week. I know all the things Bob says in the book about our President is just Fake News, and I’ll make it a point to tell him (the President) just that! I mean it’s not like Bob cited any legitimate sources in his footnotes, right?? Just a bunch of “made up” conversations, that very likely didn’t occur. I mean, who in their right mind, as senior White House officials/advisors, take extensive notes of their private conversations (UNLESS they are planning on writing their own book someday)?? I mean, there is absolutely no precedent for White House personnel doing this (keeping notes and/or writing their own book). We all know the ~18 other non-fiction White House books that Bob’s written over the past forty five years (including “All the President’s men”) were totally fictional, all FAKE NEWS. I mean, they only award Pulitzer Prizes to liars, and to people who don’t know what they’re doing, journalism-wise, right??
I just cannot wait until President Trump writes (and publishes) “the real book” next month. I think I heard you can pre-order a copy at 1-800-FAKE-NEWS.
