Before my eye surgeries ~two yrs ago, I wore glasses for, let’s say, close to fifty years. Over those ~fifty yrs, I religiously cleaned them at least each and every morning using “glass cleaner”. I absolutely hated trying to see through smudged fingerprints, or a greasy film buildup.
Now, having to just wear a pair of cheaters while reading, my OCDness has receded into the background, and I’m trying to read this morning through a pair that hasn’t been cleaned in (I’ll leave it to your imaginations).
I don’t know what’s worse, reading through smudged cheaters, or going without them, and trying to read unfocused letters, words, sentences.

Off topic: I’m trying really hard not to think about when I’ll be having to turn the furnace back on…just a few more weeks please?? Let’s shoot for November first, ok? That’s only five more weeks, just 35 days…is that too much to ask?
