Bread making – grocery store run

Went to the grocery store this morning, intending on getting the required ingredients for the new Bread Making machine:

Bread Flour
Dry Milk (didn’t realize there was such a thing)
Sugar
Salt (already had it)
Butter (same)
And this little important thing called Active Yeast.

Thinking it would run me less than twenty bucks.

Ended up spending ~$160.

Obviously more than just the above. Just normal grocery stuff that goes into the cupboards and fridge/freezer (like chocolate bars, chocolate ice cream, chocolate lettuce, chocolate Mac and Cheese, etc.)

[no, I didn’t buy any Romaine] [actually, two different companies are now making (frozen) Buffalo chicken Mac and Cheese – yum]

I’m gonna try to make a real effort in the morning to make/create/bake(?) my first loaf of home made bread. I’ve been delaying this now for last three days.

Sunday is the day.

If you don’t hear from me, or you read about a house exploding in Beautiful Downtown Apple Valley…it’ll be due to me being in the hospital (hopefully due to food poisoning rather than an explosion).
