Model Railroading – kit building – LaserKutModels

It’s pretty tough starting a mom & pop business out of your garage these days. Decades ago, you could put an ad into the various hobby related mags, announcing your new model railroad kit manufacturing company, and hopefully, via these magazine ads, as well as by word of mouth, your mom & pop business just might get enough customers to make your start-up a successful one, like Art’s Bar Mills Scale Model Works, Doug’s Fos Scale Models- Unique Structure Kits, Randy’s Downtown Deco, Jeff’s Carolina Craftsman Kits, and, Kenny’s KC’s Workshop.

Most all of these manufacturers were in a similar position many yrs ago when they were first starting out.

Nowadays, any new kit manufacturer pretty much has to rely on word of mouth via FaceBook to get people initially interested in their new kit offerings, and to make potential new customers aware of their new website.

During the last several months, I noticed this gentleman’s postings in this group, and I decided to take a chance by being one of the first to buy his first kit. After building that kit, I then purchased and built his second kit. I’m now in the middle of building his third kit. I think some of you have seen my builds of his first two kits, in the recent months. They are simple structures, mostly for the beginner modeler.

I’m not related to this gentleman, and do not have any financial interest in his business. I just know he’s just starting his business, his kits are inexpensive, and easy to build, and via this post, I’m trying to drum up some support for him and his new business. I do fully realize his simple structures might not be of any interest to the more advanced modelers on this page, but I also know there are plenty of beginners here who are looking for inexpensive kits to purchase and build.

Thank you for your consideration.
