Upgraded the iPad to IOS 12.0 BETA yesterday (?) - “everything” is crashing (safari mostly, but sometimes FB, Photos, and a couple of other apps, like my banking app, etc.) Huh - now did I follow their strongly suggested recommendation of backing up the iPad first before upgrading? FaceTime call from The Little Girl

I had a FaceTime call a few minutes ago. It was the little girl, her baby sister, her mom (Katie McCormick), and her cousin, Kenna, calling to wish me a happy birthday. As posted earlier today, we went to the Loring Park Art Festival yesterday. These are the two photographs I picked up. The photograph of Lake Calhoun looking toward the MPLS downtown skyline is truly awesome, and was the first one that caught my eye by this particular photographer. I’m 2/3s into this new murder mystery book (supposedly like “gone girl”, or “girl on the train”). I’ve seen Gone Girl, and read the book, and enjoyed both. Frigging amazing. I remember how auto workers (in the 80s?) were (rightly so) afraid that these robots would be taking their jobs. It turned out that people were needed to program them (what you just saw was pretty good programming at work), AND people who could fix them when they broke. True story time. I “found” a new sample book on my kindle the other day. Obviously I downloaded it myself, but don’t remember when nor why, since I didn’t recognize the title.
