Went to the collision shop this morning to pick up “personal items” from the truck, such as:
- Lailah’s car seat – check.
- Lailah’s red wagon – check.
- Camera tripod & monopod – check.
- Misc CDs – check.
- Misc papers – check.
- Snow scraper – check.
- Battery charging cables – check.
- Towing hitch – check.
- Spare bottle of windshield washer fluid – check (lol).
…Sad day in Clarksville.

Then, drove to my insurance agent’s office to pick up the check – oops, I knew I should have called ahead – check hadn’t arrived yet, they’ll call me when they get it (hopefully Weds/Thurs).
In the meantime, I’ve been using the AutoTrader app, tracking down used cars to go look at – saves a lot of time and gas.
Lots of trucks in Black, White, Silver, Grey. Really you guys, doesn’t anyone buy “real” colors any more? [like “vibrant blue”, “victory red”, “sunburst orange”, “forest green”, “burnt brown”, “neon purple”, or even Lailah’s favorite: “Hello Kitty Pink”, etc.].
Found a bright yellow Avalanche, but that is way TOO bright for me – hurts the eyes to even look at it for a couple of seconds. What were they thinking (meaning both Chevy, AND, the person who in fact actually bought it in that color??)
